About Me
My background
I feel like I have been all over the world and back (without literally being all over the world - but that's on my bucket list!).
Life has given me so many experiences already and I knew that these would be amazing to draw from to bring new characters and stories to life.
I have lived in different states on opposite coasts of the country and some places in between.
I have worked as a financial analyst, ballroom dance instructor, personal trainer, C-level executive of a software company, waitress, consultant, and more.
I have been married, divorced, and remarried (to my best friend who has given me two amazing children, a beautiful life, and constant support).
I have spent more time than anyone should in medical offices and hospitals battling breast cancer - 3 surgeries, 6 months of chemo, 25 rounds of radiation and now I am a four year survivor!
I have a large extended family - on just my dad's side, my grandparents each had 8 siblings, so two generations later, let's just say I have a lot of cousins!
I have participated in all types of hobbies and activities! I have done aerial silks, played pickleball, learned to crochet, created my own sourdough starter (and make a lot of bread!), done taekwondo, thrown in an axe throwing league, and yes, much more!
My writing roots
From my earliest memories, there has been the desire to do all of the things in life - pursue all of the careers, travel to all of the places, experience all of the stuff.
Taking some time off and contemplating this desire as it relates to the next steps in life has led me here.
I started writing as a child and have been passionate about literature my entire life. Coming full circle, I have the opportunity to experience all of the things through the characters I create and I'm excited about the endless possibilities.
I am currently looking for representation on my first novel while writing something completely new!

My style
Words are my happy place. Incorrect grammar makes me cringe.
I absolutely love reading and consuming what other writers have put out into the world. I hope one day to bring others that joy with my own works.
I'm not sure I can settle on one style. Currently, I have a multi-perspective, multi-timeline third person novel completed and am working on a first person work in a completely different genre.
My goal is to write in all areas, I have ideas already brewing for many of them!
